After completing schooling, Alakh attempted the IIT-JEE, but things didn’t fall in place for him. Instead of getting disheartened, he took another shot at the entrance examinations, this time the ‘UPSCEE’ in Uttar Pradesh. His efforts paid off and he secured a spot in the distinguished Harcourt Butler Technical Institute (HBTI) in Kanpur, where he pursued Mechanical Engineering. Despite this, he made the unconventional decision to leave college during his final year.

Alakh’s journey didn’t start in a high-tech startup incubator. It began in the classrooms of Allahabad, where he tutored younger students while still in school himself. Talk about multitasking! By the time he was in 11th grade, Alakh was already giving demo classes at local coaching centres.

Alakh Pandey, wedded to Shivani Dubey, has found his life partner who is a self-employed news-reporter and masters in Chemistry. Their paths crossed thanks to a common friend, and they tied the knot on February 22nd, 2023.
