Nandini Agrawal a 19-year-old from Morena, Madhya Pradesh, became the youngest woman in the world to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA), according to records from Guinness World Records and the India Book of Records. She achieved this milestone in 2021 after securing the top rank in the nationwide CA final exams.

Nandini Agrawal has been awarded the title of the world’s youngest female CA. This title was given by Guinness World Records. In 2021, Nandini scored 614 out of 800 (76.75%) in the CA final exam. She surpassed 83,000 candidates. Nandini’s success in deciding to create a world record in school is largely attributed to her elder brother. He was also preparing for the CA exams and helped Nandini a lot with her studies.
Nandini was inspired by a Guinness World Record holder who had once visited her school. Since then, Nandini resolved to make a name for herself. She set the goal of becoming the youngest CA.

Sibling Became her Best Supporter
Nandini’s elder brother Sachin Agrawal was the biggest support in her journey. Since he, too, was preparing for the CA exams, he could understand the obstacles and guide her well. So whether it was poor marks in her mock tests or demotivation, Nandini would turn towards her brother whenever she needed guidance. While Nandini stood first in the final merit list, her brother bagged the 18th spot in the same exam.
Corporate Experience in Global Firms and Currently Working
Agrawal started her corporate career at PwC as an article trainee. She has worked across different teams on assignments such as statutory audits, group reporting, tax audits, and forensic audits. She also spent one and a half years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as an Associate Management Consultant, where she was part of the G20 team.
At present, Agrawal is employed as a Private Equity analyst. Her profile reflects three years of experience in various accounting and consulting functions across global firms.
